ML Gold Corp. (TSX-V: MLG) (“ML Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce it has signed two separate option agreements for options to acquire up to an 80% interest in a total of 2,136 Hectares of prospective mining claims in the Omineca Mining Division located in north central British Columbia, approximately 40 kilometres south - southwest of Houston (collectively, the “Stars Property”).
Andy Bowering, Chairman of ML Gold comments “This was a unique opportunity to acquire a strong land position with significant copper - gold - silver mineralization on surface, which has never been tested to depth, in this emerging area play. We are pleased to have a place in the recent resurgence of this significant mining camp.”
ML Gold’s Stars Property is 30 kilometres to the northwest of the New Nadina’s Silver Queen Property. The mineralization on New Nadina’s property has a northwest - southeast trend and falls within a string of deposits and past producing mines including Goldcorp’s Equity Silver Mine which produced over 77 Million Ounces Silver, 500,000 Ounces Gold, and over 80,000kg of Copper. At the northwest end of this trend, ML Gold’s Stars Property is host to wide spread chargeability anomalies and significant copper–gold–silver mineralization outcropping at surface. The Stars Property is underlain by Lower Jurassic volcanics, and Lower Cretaceous Skeena Group sediments that are intruded by variably mineralized Late Cretaceous intermediate to felsic Bulkley Suite intrusive rocks.
The Stars Property is fully permitted for drilling on two main zones that were first discovered in the late 1990’s when new logging roads were being constructed in the area. Since then mineralization has been confirmed in shallow drilling, and consists predominately of quartz sulphide veins containing chalcocite, bornite, chalcopyrite, and pyrite in intensely altered host volcanic rocks. The outcropping mineralization, especially at the Road Zone, is interpreted to be high level porphyry style mineralization evident from euhedral chalcocite crystals with intense muscovite replacement in the wall rock. It is possible that this zone is immediately above or proximal to an enriched copper porphyry zone and that the two adjacent zones identified on surface on the property join at depth in a higher grade zone. Rock samples from the Road Zone assayed up to 3.3% Copper, 0.2 g/t Gold, and 12.2 g/t Silver. The chargeability anomalies were identified on the property by a Hunter Dickinson Group company in 2000 and are at least 3 kilometres x 3 kilometres across and open to the north, south, and east.
The first agreement (the “First Stars Agreement”) is with Pacific Empire Minerals Corp., an arm’s length party which currently owns 50% of the Stars Property. Under the terms of the First Stars Agreement, the Company has the option to earn up to a 30% interest in the Stars Property by completing the following:
- Making cash payments of CDN$10,000, and issuing 100,000 common shares upon TSX Venture Exchange (“TSXV”) approval, and completing CDN$500,000 in expenditures on the property within the first year.
- Making cash payments of CDN$20,000, issuing 200,000 common shares on or before the first anniversary of TSXV approval, and completing CDN$1,000,000 in expenditures on the property within the second year.
- Making cash payments of CDN$50,000, and issuing 300,000 common shares on or before the second anniversary of TSXV approval, and completing CDN$3,000,000 in expenditures on the property within the third year.
The second agreement (the “Second Agreement”) is with Divitiae Resources Ltd. a non-arms-length party owned by Adrian Smith, P.Geo, a director of the Company, which currently owns 50% of the Stars Property. Under the terms of the Second Agreement, the Company has the option to earn up to an additional 50% interest in the Stars Property by completing the following:
- Making cash payments of CDN$10,000, and issuing 200,000 common shares upon TSXV approval.
- Making cash payments of CDN$20,000, issuing 400,000 common shares on or before the first anniversary of TSXV approval.
- Making cash payments of CDN$50,000, and issuing 300,000 common shares on or before the second anniversary of TSXV approval.
- Making cash payments of CDN$50,000, and issuing 1,000,000 common shares on or before the third anniversary of TSXV approval.
ML Gold can earn a total of 80% interest in the Stars Property by fully exercising the options in the First Agreement and the Second Agreement as outlined above.
The First Agreement and the Second Agreement are subject to their approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.

ML Gold Corp. (TSX-V: MLG) (“ML Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an update on all the 2017 Exploration Projects including the Palmetto Gold Project in Esmeralda county, Nevada, USA, Pinnacle Reef Copper Gold and Aspen Gold Projects in Central BC, and the Block 103 Iron Ore Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
Palmetto Gold Project
Ground work began early in 2017 on the Palmetto project which included preliminary field examinations and target generation. Following the preliminary field work, a drilling program was initiated to complete a first ever resource calculation. ML Gold successfully completed this program in June and followed with the maiden resource of approximately 350,000 gold equivalent ounces (see release dated October 2, 2017). Presently, the Company is completing the technical report to accompany the resources.
ML Gold has just received a positive decision on its recent drill permit to conduct a second phase drill program at Palmetto. The phase two program is designed to grow the current resource where there is potential to add significant volumes of mineralized material, and to test parallel structures within the developing Palmetto Gold Trend.
Pinnacle Reef Copper Gold Project
2017 field work at the Pinnacle Reef project was undertaken in two phases from March through early September. The drilling was designed to test certain areas within the recently identified, highly anomalous, and widely dispersed chargeability anomalies. These anomalies were generated from the combination of new work completed by the Company in April and the purchase of historic data. From the combination of these initiatives the Company has amassed an area with highly anomalous chargeability covering approximately 6 by 7 kilometres.
2017 drilling focused on the southern portion of the "donut anomaly" where strong propylitic alteration exhibiting epidote and pyrite mineralization as vein fillings and disseminations existed. The easternmost hole of the five hole program encountered localized phyllic and potassic alteration with one notable zone of secondary biotite and chalcopyrite immediately west of the historical Aplite Creek occurrence (BC MINEFILE No 093N 085). This hole did not reach its target depth as it was unable to pass through a strong fault at ~200 metres. Only one partial hole was assayed and returned only negligible amounts of copper.
Mineralization encountered in the 2017 drilling appears to have strong structural correlation and may be “bleeding” from a larger system not yet detected by drilling. Strong chargeability anomalies remain untested in the northwest potion of the donut anomaly and will likely be followed up as a top priority for the 2018 field season.
Aspen Gold Project
Field work on the Aspen project was severely hindered during the 2017 field season by multiple forest fires in the region. Currently the company has drill permit applications under the review and consultation process designed to follow up on new Induced Polarization (“IP”) anomalies discovered by the Company during their spring/winter IP program completed in April. Additionally the Company recently acquired additional ground adjoining the Aspen claims. Updated maps can be viewed in the company’s updated presentation available on the Company’s website.
Block 103 Iron Ore
Earlier this year the company entered into a LOI (“Letter Of Intent”) driven by the resurgence of Iron Ore prices. Due to the fluctuating market conditions the deal was not completed and ML Gold elected to not renegotiate the terms on the purchase agreement (See news Dated April 18, 2017). The Company is currently evaluating its options for the Block 103 project.
Adrian Smith, P.Geo., is the qualified person for the Company as that term is defined in the National Instrument 43-101, and has supervised the technical information presented within this news release.

ML Gold Corp. (TSX-V: MLG; FSE: X0VN.F) (“ML Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce a maiden National Instrument 43-101 (“NI 43-101”) Inferred Resource Estimate for the 100% owned Palmetto Epithermal Gold Project in Nevada of 10.1 million tonnes grading 0.95 g/t Au, and 7.29 g/t Ag (1.05 g/t AuEq) containing 310,000 ounces of gold, and 2.4 million ounces of silver for a total of 342,000 AuEq ounces in a pit constrained shell. Beneath the pit constrained resource, there is an initial underground inferred resource, completely open to depth and along strike, at 3.6 g/t Au and 10.8 g/t Ag (3.74 g/t AuEq) for an additional 11,753 AuEq ounces, giving a total maiden inferred resource of 353,435 AuEq ounces. The NI 43-101 Technical Report prepared by WSP Canada Inc. (“WSP”) will be filed on SEDAR within 45 days of this release.

Figure 1 (below) shows the current extent of drilling and Figure 2 shows a cross section through the eastern end of the resource area. Figure 3 highlights several additional mineralized zones hosting significant grades within close proximity to both the Discovery and Northwest Zones. These zones have yet to be included in the resource estimate due to drilling density. The pit shell was generated by applying certain economic constraints, now required under NI 43-101 disclosure on inferred resource estimates. ML Gold sees these areas having immediate potential to significantly increase the overall resource on the Palmetto Gold Project by increasing the drilling density between mineralized shells (see Figure 3). Evidence suggests that there is significant potential to expand the resource in multiple directions.
The Company is currently permitting a phase two program designed to expand on and discover new areas surrounding the mineralized shells used for the resource (Tables 1 and 2). Outside of the immediate resource area, potential remains to discovery new zones along the northwest trending structural corridor (the “Palmetto Gold Trend”) which extends over 3 kilometres to the northwest from the Discovery Zone and includes the past producing Red Rock Mercury mine, and historic underground workings by Newmont.

The Palmetto Project NI 43-101 Inferred Resource Estimate was prepared by independent qualified person Todd McCracken, P. Geo. of WSP. The resource estimate is based on the combination of geological modeling, geostatistics and conventional block modeling using the Ordinary Krig methodology of grade interpolation. The mineralized zones were defined by wire-framed solids consisting of several discrete domains. The mineral resources were estimated using a block model with parent blocks of 5m X 2.5m X 2.5m.
The WSP Resource Estimate also evaluated the Palmetto resource at a range of cut-off grades between 0.05 g/t AuEq and 0.25 g/t AuEq. The grade tonnage table shows how changes in tonnage and grade affect the resource. The Complete Grade tonnage table can be viewed on the Company’s website. Results are as follows:

Notes to the table of resources:
- CIM definition standards were followed for the resource estimate.
- The 2017 resource models used Ordinary Krig grade estimation within a three-dimensional block model with mineralized zones defined by wireframed solids on several mineral domains.
- A base cut-off grade of 0.14 % g/t AuEq was used for reporting resources.
- Numbers may not add exactly due to rounding.
- Mining Cost $1.35/t mined, Processing Cost $5/t processed (heap leach included G & A and Selling Costs)
- Mining Dilution 0% @ 0 grade and Mining Recovery 100%.
- Metal Recovery; 80% for Au and 52% for Ag.
- Metal prices; $1,350/oz Au and $18.00/oz Ag
- Overall slope angles; 45 for rock, 25 for overburden
- Gold Equivalent (AuEq) calculated using $1,325/oz Au for gold, $3.00/lb for Copper, and $17.50/oz Ag for silver.
- Mineral Resources that are not mineral reserves do not have economic viability
- The quantity and grade of reported inferred resources in this estimation are uncertain in nature and there has been insufficient exploration to define these inferred resources as an indicated or measured mineral resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in upgrading them to an indicated or measured mineral resource category.
Andrew Bowering, Chairman of ML Gold comments “We are extremely pleased with our team’s ability to bring this project to a resource stage within the first year. This initial resource is the result of tying previous work with recent exploration and it highlights the significant potential of the Palmetto Project. Several targets exist along the Palmetto Gold Trend which includes the longest producing mercury mine in Nevada. On this early stage project, with limited drilling to depth, we may be just be poking into the top of the iceberg.”
ML Gold Corp. has an option to acquire a 100% right, title and interest to the Palmetto Gold Project (see news release dated October 18, 2016). The Palmetto Project is located in Esmeralda County, Nevada, within the southern portion of the Walker Lane Gold Trend.
The Palmetto resource estimate data in this news release was read and approved by Todd McCracken, P.Geo. of WSP, who is independent of ML Gold Corp. and a Qualified Person (“QP”) as defined by Section 1.5 of National Instrument 43-101.
Adrian Smith, P.Geo., is the qualified person for the Company as that term is defined in the National Instrument 43-101, and has supervised the technical information presented within this news release.
